Happy Wednesday!

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme that was originally created by Lainey from GingerReadsLainey and is now hosted by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. To find out more about this booktastic topic, visit the Goodreads group here!

I have not done one of these posts in so long! I am excited to get back in the swing of things with this week’s topic, “Characters on the Naughty List”. This was a fun list to put together. Without villains, a majority of the books out there would be pretty darn boring.

“Every fairytale needs a good old fashioned villain.”

(bonus points: what TV show is this quote from?)

My Naughty List

  1. Jack Schitt from Thursday Next
  2. Queen Levana from The Lunar Chronicles
  3. Mrs. Coulter from His Dark Materials and The Book of Dust
  4. Holland from Shades of Magic
  5. omg Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter has to be on this list. I hated her character more than anyone else in the HP universe.

My list was short and sweet this week but I would love to hear what you think about my choices!

Questions for you:

1. What characters do you think belong on the naughty list?

2. Who is your favorite TV/movie villain?

  1. (Is that from Sherlock?) Holland was on my list, too, but he’s one I went from loving to hate to just loving by the end of the series. I think my favorite TV villain would be a tie between Rumplestiltskin from OUAT and Weeping Angels from Doctor Who.

    1. Yes from Sherlock! Well done! I liked Rumple as a complex villain, but then he did something at the end of one of the seasons and now I just straight up hate him haha. The Weeping Angels are a great one too!
