Day Forty Nine

Q: Do you read classics? If so, what’s your favorite?

A: A handful of classics I have read and enjoyed are:

1984

To Kill A Mockingbird

Hamlet

Little Women

Sir Gawain and the Green Night

Classics I did not enjoy:

Tess of the d’Urbervilles

Moby Dick (granted it was a shortened version, but still didn’t like it)

Of Mice and Men

Othello

There are a lot more classics I want to read but new books keep getting published! How am I, a mere mortal, supposed to keep up??

Question for you:

What is your favorite classic book or Shakespeare play?

  1. I’ve taken to listening to classics lately, it just seems easier for me to get into the story. My favorite classic has still got to be Sherlock Homes (I just love him), but my favorite Shakespeare play is probably ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, with ‘The Winter’s Tale’ coming in a close second. 🙂
